This pushes up the lock button on the inside so that the door can be opened with the door handle. The locks should be "lubricated" in the winter- time with a suitable lock oil in order to prevent them from freezing up. If a lock is frozen, do not try to force the lock with the key otherwise the key might snap off. First warm up the lock by heating it or the key. |
Locking the doorsBoth doors are locked by pushing down the lock button on the inside. The doors are locked from the outside by first pushing down the inside lock button before closing the door. The doors can also be locked with the key. The inside lock button must first be pulled up before the door can be opened from inside. |
Boot lidThe boot lid can be opened only with the key.Turn the key a ¼ turn as illustrated above. A special type spare wheel, an air compressor for filling the spare wheel with air and a tool kit and jack as well as a warning triangle are stored in the luggage compartment. |
Warning! The doors should be not be locked during driving, since this could prevent anyone from get-ting into the car quickly in the event of an accident. |
